Going Bold w/ Teal & Orange

I found these great chairs on Craigslist for only $25.  They've been sitting around the house for quite some time.  I had a hard time deciding if I should go bold or neutral.

My dear neighbor & friend gave me some great, orange fabric.  I decided to use it for the cushions.  It makes a great accent color to the teal colors already in our family room.

Check out the legs!  These are my favorite part....

The chairs were a 3 day project.  I painted them on Nashville's record breaking hottest day ever.  (I don't recommend this to anyone!)  The next day, I lightly distressed each one and added an antique glaze.  Finally, on the third day, I added the cushions.  With having four, small children, I've given myself grace in the area of having time frames.  The chair won't remember that it wasn't finished in a timely manner, but my kids will remember if I chose work over them.  So, grace in time frames works best for us!

Let's see those before & after pictures again.

Before....

And now, looking bold...
